About the Lineup:

SEAN GRANT is a comedian, writer, and improviser from Miami, Florida, best known as the “Funniest College Kid in America,” a title he earned on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while attending Florida State. He’s appeared on Maron (IFC), Meet the Browns (TBS), and WTF Baron Davis (Fuse).

In 2019, Sean was selected as a New Face at the Just for Laughs Festival and was later named one of TimeOut LA’s Top 10 Comics to Watch. His stand-up has been featured on TruTV’s Laff Tracks (Seasons 1 & 2), Don’t Tell Comedy, and Comedy Central in 2022. He also released his debut comedy album, Sean Grant: First of His Name, through Comedy Records. Known for blending thoughtful commentary with sharp, accessible humor, Sean brings presence and polish to every performance. He’s just as comfortable digging into social issues as he is riffing on the absurdity of everyday life. Outside of stand-up, Sean is a skilled improviser and writer. He founded the long-form improv group Bernie Mac & Cheese, which performed at SF SketchFest in 2023 and 2024. He also served as head writer for DeadHouse on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network and contributed to King Bachelor’s Pad.

VANESSA DAWN is a stand‑up comedian originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, now building her voice in the Northwest and beyond. Affectionately described as having a “Care Bear face,” her delivery is disarmingly laid‑back—“cleverly chill” yet with punch that catches you off guard. In just a few years on stage, she’s performed at high-profile events such as the Seattle International Comedy Competition, Blue Whale Comedy Festival, Black Girl Giggles Comedy Festival, Northwest Women’s Comedy Festival, and Northwest Black Comedy Festival, and continues to perform regularly across clubs and theaters on the West Coast. Early in her career, she shared stages with comics like Brian Posehn, Sarah Colonna, and Jubal Flagg. Whether you spot her hosting shows like Lagers and Laughs in Redmond or hear her discussing life on podcasts with raw honesty, Vanessa Dawn brings a warm presence and quietly sharp wit that resonates long after the set ends.
