About the Comedians...

Sean Grant is a dynamic comedian, writer, and improviser hailing from Miami, Florida. While studying at Florida State University, he gained national attention when he was crowned “Funniest College Kid in America” during a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — an achievement that marked the launch of his professional comedy journey. Following that early success, Grant secured guest acting spots on several television programs including Maron (IFC), Meet the Browns (TBS), and WTF Baron Davis (Fuse). He rapidly ascended in the stand-up comedy world, being selected as a New Face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in 2019, an honor that recognized his unique voice and sharp, socially aware humor.

Grant’s work also spans sketch and improv performance. He founded the long-form improv team “Bernie Mac & Cheese,” which he led to appearances at SF SketchFest in both 2023 and 2024. In addition, he served as Head Writer on the original digital series DeadHouse for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network and contributed to the viral sketch show King Bachelors Pad, created by internet personality King Bach. Known for blending thoughtful social commentary with personal storytelling, Grant’s material often explores identity, race, and modern life through a lens of optimism and wit. His magnetic stage presence and authenticity have earned him a reputation as both a sharp joke-writer and an empathetic performer. Named one of Time Out LA’s “Top 10 Comedians to Watch,” Sean Grant continues to build an impressive resume in both stand-up and television. Whether performing in major comedy clubs across the country or developing fresh projects for film and streaming, Grant remains committed to his mission of using comedy to connect people through truth, laughter, and shared experience.

The show is at the Village Theatre at 602 Pine Knot Ave, Big Bear, CA 92315. Doors will open at

8:30 PM and start around 9:00 PM. The show is rated PG-13. The Village Theaters currently does not sell alcohol.
