Andrea Abbate is a veteran stand-up comedian, television writer, actor, and producer known for her bold, fearless comedy and sharp point of view. With a career spanning decades, she has built a reputation for tackling provocative subjects with intelligence, honesty, and humor that is both edgy and deeply relatable. As a stand-up comedian, Andrea has appeared multiple times on Evening at the Improv and made nine appearances on Politically Incorrect. She is also a frequent guest on Earthquake’s SiriusXM radio show Quake’s House, where her candid storytelling and quick wit have made her a standout voice. Her live performances are known for blending personal experience with social commentary, creating comedy that is raw, smart, and unapologetic.

In television, Andrea has an extensive résumé as a writer, producer, and creator. She has written and produced for major networks including Showtime, HBO, NBC, CBS, ABC, Disney+, and Freeform. She has also developed and created television projects across multiple genres and platforms, showcasing her versatility and creative range behind the scenes. Throughout her career, Andrea has worked alongside some of the most respected names in comedy, including Bill Maher, Bob Saget, Niecy Nash, Earthquake, Paul Rodriguez, and Adam Carolla.
