About the Lineup:

Joe Marrese is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and writer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, he moved to California to pursue comedy and has become a regular performer at the world-famous The Comedy Store. Performing nightly alongside touring headliners and club regulars, Marrese has developed his style in one of the most respected comedy venues in the country.

In addition to stand-up, Marrese is the host of the podcast Joe Code, part of the All Things Comedy network. On the show, he talks with fellow comedians about stand-up, life on the road, and everyday experiences, building a following among comedy fans and comics alike.

Marrese performs regularly at clubs, independent shows, and comedy rooms throughout Los Angeles and the West Coast, and has appeared on numerous live podcasts and showcases within the Comedy Store community. Known for his dry sense of humor and conversational delivery, he continues to build his career through stand-up, podcasting, and live performances.

Chip Nicholson is a stand-up comedian based in Los Angeles known for his sharp writing, bold perspective, and high-energy stage presence. Rising through the San Diego comedy scene, he has gone on to perform regularly at respected venues including the Hollywood Improv and the The Comedy Store, building a reputation as a strong live performer in clubs, showcases, and private events across California and the West Coast.

Nicholson was selected to perform at the Boulder Comedy Festival and appeared in the Just for Laughs New Faces Auditions in 2026. In addition to stand-up, he works as an on-camera actor and voiceover performer, appearing in commercial and digital projects while continuing to develop his material on stage.

Soomin Chun is a Los Angeles–based stand-up comedian known for her sharp writing, deadpan delivery, and unpredictable stage presence. She performs regularly at respected comedy venues including the The Comedy Store, and has appeared on showcase lineups throughout California and across the U.S. comedy club circuit.

Tickets are $10 Presale at our website standupcomedyunderground.com and $15 dollars at the door. Presale ends an hour before the show.

The show is at the La Verne Brewing Company located at 2125 Wright Ave C-15, La Verne, CA 91750. Doors will open at 7:30PM. Full drink service will be available. Outside food is allowed, but there will also be a food truck. The show is rated for ages 18+.
